CODI138 ROYAL PRIME TIME is everything we had hoped for in a PPPERUVIAN ROYAL FAWN son, the infamous, 100% Accoyo who made U.S. history in 2006, when he sold for $600,000. His genetics have made a huge impact on the industry. Codi is definitely his Father's son - a remarkable spitting image. If you want coverage, he's got it, in fact, he's got so much coverage he appears to be wearing slippers! His golden fleece has character, spectacular shine and feels just like velvet. It boasts a tight, deep crimp - right down to the roots and the thickness! Immediately, we knew we had a winner. Codi's Dam, Dutches, also medium fawn, resembles a vicuna, an animal who produces one of the finest fibers in the world, and according to her owners, Dutches has one of the finest fleeces on their farm.... a very nice coincidence, no wonder this Full Peruvian Herdsire is exceptional. Codi's first offspring, a female called Royal Platinum, was born in October 2007, and this summer (2008), he eagerly assumed his role as Lead Herdsire at VIP ALPACAS. We expect Codi to add bone, density, staple length and full coverage to our breeding program. This Spring (2009) we will offer only 2 outside breedings to Codi.
